Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films generally within the horror or martial arts genre, which is roughly comparable that of The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and an obsession with the genre. She began her reviews in late 2009; when she began to gain some recognition (under her old name, Obscurus-Lupa), Allison Pregler became part of Channel Awesome's family. The site remained active until the beginning of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was retooled into Movie Nights. She currently hosts two podcasts. One that covers the Charmed Franchise and another hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Here and here, you can view her videos. Find her on Tumblr, Twitter. Allison has got you wanting more? Ninja the Mission Force shows her acting playing Interpol Ninja Cheetah. She also appeared in Brad Jones' movie Jesus Bro! The role of a guest on Midnight Screenings is a regular occurrence. The show reviews horrible films aimed at children, RiffTrax and live shows. The show also has a few times adult-oriented comedy. The first time she reviewed movies was in 2009. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was invited to join the reviewer family. Her appearances have included a variety throughout Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She along with Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
