LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born on 30 December 1984 is a pro American basketball star. Nicknamed King James he is widely thought to be one of the best players of all time and has often been compared with Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player in history. James has been awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVP Awards, and four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James is the NBA All-Star who has most points in playoffs, the second highest career point total, and the seventh highest assists total in his career. Additionally, as an NBA All-Star, James was picked to the NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. He has competed in ten NBA Finals the third most of all time, with eight games in succession between 2011 and 2018. James was chosen to be a member of the NBA75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022 he became first NBA player ever to score more than 10,000 career points. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School near his hometown of Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped up by media. A prep-to-pro, he was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first top pick of 2003's NBA draft. As the NBA rookie player in 2004, he established his name quickly as one of the most elite players in the league, earning the NBA MVP awards in the years 2009 and 2010. He was unable to secure a championship with Cleveland James left in 2010 by way of a free-agent to join with the Miami Heat this was announced during the TV program The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent choices throughout sports history.
